The type and frequency of above ground tank inspections are determined by your SPCC plan which must comply with federal & state regulations.  We have the ability to accommodate any inspection requirement in your SPCC plan including:

• Inspection of  thickness, floor, shell or roof of the above ground tank.
• Visual inspection required for smaller ASTs.
• Ultrasonic thickness testing
• Inspection of  above ground tanks storing hazardous materials or oil product.

Conventional methods of testing on-ground above ground tanks require cumbersome & costly pretest preparation such as:

• removing the tank’s contents
• cleaning the interior
• taking the tank out of service for several days
• confined space entry

Using our MDleak technology the AST can operate during the entire test process!  In addition, there’s very little test preparation.  Tank cleaning,  removing its contents & confined space entry are NOT required.
